INDIAN PREFERENCE : Preference in filling vacancies is given to qualified Indian candidates in accordance with the Indian Preference Act of 1934 (Title 25, USC, Section 472). KEY REQUIREMENTS

DUTIES:
As a Management & Program Analyst, you will;

Provide administrative and technicial assistance and analysis to the Realty Officer.

Monitor and track payments in the Suspense Deposit System and Federal Finance System.

Establish and maintain current files on all company corporate documents, contact information and surety bonds and power of attorney documentation.

Establish and maintain files of all producing oil and gas wells and plugged an dabandoned oil and gas wells.

Track Environmental Assessments, Applications for Permit to Drill, Spacing Units and Communitization/Unitization Agreements.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS: (OPM Operating Manual, Qualification Standards for Administrative and Management Positions, GS-343-7/9).

GS-9: 1 year or 52 weeks of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-7 grade level OR masterÂ's or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.B. or J.D., if related.

GS-7: 1 year or 52 weeks of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-5 grade level OR 1 full year of graduate level education or superior academic achievement.

SUPERIOR ACADEMIC ACHIEVEMENT: Superior Academic Achievement (S.A.A.) must have been gained in a curriculum that is qualifying for the position to be filled. S.A.A. is based on (1) Class standing-applicants must be in the upper third of the graduating class, based on completed courses; or (2) Grade-Point Average-applicants must have a grade-point average of 3.0 or higher out of a possible 4.0 based on 4 years of education, or as computed based on courses completed during the final 2 years of the curriculum; or 3.5 or higher out of a possible 4.0 based on the average of the required courses completed in the major field completed during the final 2 years of the curriculum; or (3) Election to membership in a National Scholastic Honor Society - membership in a freshman honor society cannot be used to meet the requirements of this provision.

SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Experience that equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities (KSAÂ's) to perform successfully the duties of the position, and is typically in or related to the position to be filled. Examples of Specialized Experience, but is not limited to a working knowledge of statistical, budget and economic principles and technique, and how to apply them analytically. Setting priorities, evaluate alternative and anticipate problems. Interpreting, analyzing, evaluating and compiling data into clear and concise written reports and recommendations.

Promotion Potential: When promotion potential is shown, and if selected at the lower grade the agency is not obligated or committed to promoting you to the higher grade. Promotions depend on your ability to perform the duties, require a minimum of 12-months time in grade and provided you are found otherwise eligible you'll need to be recommended through the supervisory chain. Promotions are not automatic.

SUITABILITY, CLEARANCE & REQUIREMENTS: A background security investigation will be required for all new hires. Appointment will be subject to the applicantÂ's successful completion of a background security investigation and favorable adjudication. Failure to successfully meet these requirements will be grounds for termination.
