Additional Salary Information: Applicants’ qualifications are assessed based on minimum qualifications and in accordance to Pay Plan Rules. Successful applicant’s pay is set using the above salary range based on qualifications. Additional compensation includes $8,796 for benefits and 7.1% of employer contribution to retirement.

Duties:
This position is responsible for managing the daily operations related to complaints and discipline of licensees associated with 40 different licensing boards and programs. Duties include coordinating complaint review processes to ensure licenses compliance with statutes and rules as they relate to specific boards/programs. Maintains and updates files on licensees. Schedules necessary Screening Panel and Adjudication meetings and records minutes for the meetings. Monitors licensees to ensure compliance with all aspects of stipulations and final orders. Provides information, including testimony, as needed in contested case hearings in support to attorneys and the Board/Program as needed.

Competencies:
Requires knowledge of or ability to acquire knowledge within a reasonable period of time on the job o! f Board operations related to compliance and the ability to follow and communicate policies, processes and procedures effortlessly. Must have knowledge and skills in word processing and data and web base programs. Must have the ability to be highly organized to maintain continuous control of numerous boards and changing deadlines. Must be able to make decisions and solve problems while exhibiting a realistic understanding of issues; maintain effective working relationships; communicate well both verbally and in writing and have good listening skills; promote team work environment; be flexible with changes; have attention to detail to ensure accuracy in documentation and maintain high quality standards; and have integrity in the work place and focus on customer service delivery.

Education/Experience:
Requires a combination of relevant education and experience equivalent to five years. Qualifications include a Bachelor or Associate degree in business, comp! liance, or another related field and one to three years of experience, ! depending on educational degree, in general office procedures, compliance, and software programs including word processing, data, and web base programs. Some knowledge of Board operations related to compliance is helpful.

This position is responsible for taking minutes at a variety of different Board meetings; drafting and finalizing minutes; and distributing them according to Department policy.
