Paralegal or Sr Paralegal

Description: PPL Corporation is currently seeking to employ Paralegal or Sr Paralegal right now, this vacancy will be placed in Montana. Provide assistance to attorneys representing PPL Corporation and its subsidiaries before courts and preparation of draft documents. Must have a BS/BA degree and paralegal certificate from an ABA approved paralegal program or other paralegal program acceptable to the company. Duties include, but are not limited to, legal research, fact investigation, and preparation of draft documents.
Primary Responsibilities
Provide assistance to attorneys representing PPL Corporation and its subsidiaries.
Assists in effective case management of complex litigat! ion.
Contribute to a climate of cooperation and credi! bility by effectively communicating with various PPL employees, state and federal agencies, and outside counsel.
Provide assistance in administrative and financial functions
Candidate Qualifications
Candidates must meet the basic qualifications to receive consideration.
Basic Qualifications
BS/BA Degree.
Up to three years legal experience in a paralegal or related position.
Paralegal Certificate from an ABA approved program or another paralegal program acceptable to the company.
Preferred Qualifications
Paralegal preferred qualifications
- 5 years legal experience in a paralegal or related position.
- Demonstrated experience in research, writing, and problem analysis.
- Strong case management skills.
- Strong computer skills.
- Advanced degree
- 6 years of experience as a paralegal
- Demonstrated computer proficiency
- Experience with problem analysis
- Effective written and oral communication skills
- Knowledge or Microsoft Office applications and databases
- Effective interpersonal skills
