The Opportunity
We're looking for a Principal, Platform Partnerships to join the Creative Cloud Platform & Partner Ecosystem team. This team enables 3rd-party developers - both large and small - to build on top of marquee products like Photoshop and emerging products such as Adobe Express.
You'll be primarily responsible for three areas: ecosystem growth, ecosystem management, and overseeing the Adobe Fund for Design. Ecosystem growth includes new developer and partner development, especially for new and emerging products. Ecosystem management entails existing partner coordination and developer relations, including partner advocacy in product and GTM discussions and reporting and analytics on behalf of and to our partners. The Adobe Fund for Design is focused on grants and investments for developers, teams, and startups building the future of design with Adobe.
You will coordinate closely with a cross-functional team of PMs, developer evangelists, designers, engineers, and marketers that drive Creative Cloud's Developer Platform. We do it all in service of delivering useful and delightful add-ons, plugins, and integrations to creative users around the world.
What you'll Do
Develop an understanding of the business impact and be accountable for OKRs and measures of success for our developer platform.
Partner with Product and Marketing teams across the product portfolio to understand product roadmaps, secure necessary resources for partner success, and build the platform strategy.
Be responsible for the full partner pipeline and day-to-day relationships, including resolving operational issues and connecting dots across the extended team.
Identify, evaluate, and manage candidates for Adobe Fund for Design grants and investments.
Deliver against ambitious partnership goals, including partner growth, partner engagement, and supporting product OKRs.
Evangelize Creative Cloud as the preferred creativity platform, including with key Creator Economy websites, mobile apps, and services.
Communicate partner feedback and progress to senior leadership and extended team members.
Relentlessly advocate on behalf of developers and partners, including their end users. What you need to succeed
Impeccable written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to sell a vision.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
An “own the outcome,” self-starter attitude, with the ability to context switch across projects, products, and partner-types.
An interest and passion for working with partners, learning about new technologies, and evangelizing a developer platform.
10+ years experience in business/corporate development - or a related field such as consulting/strategy, product management, or investment banking.
