We are looking for a fun, energetic, relaxed, reliable and creative child care provider to watch our 2 kids, one to two varying days per week in o! ur home, from around 8 a.m. to 5 or 6 p.m. with the potential to work more on a date night here and there or if I pick up an extra shift. I am a nurse and work two days per week (different days each week). My husband is an attorney. Our son is 4 years old and our daughter is 1-year-old. We prefer someone active who would enjoy playing outside in the yard, going on walks or going to the park as opposed to watching TV. The library, children's museum and open gym are places we like to take them as well. We would prefer someone long term (as in more than a few months) to avoid going through the stress of frequently finding someone new. However, we will consider summer only care as well. We live in the upper Rattlesnake. Your own transportation is not required but we will be unable to provide any rides. Pay is $10/hour. Preparing light meals and light housework would be needed, mostly just cleaning up after your meals and any toys that were brought out during play, but occasiona! lly you might be asked to fold a load of the kids' laundry or ! sweep. Our son is out of preschool for the summer but will resume school three days a week in August. If you were working on a school day, we might need you to drop him off and/or pick him up. We have 2 elderly dogs so liking dogs is a must. As a family, we enjoy hiking, biking, camping, fishing, rafting and sports. We try to be active every day and to eat healthy foods. We like to engage our son in artwork, puzzles and imaginative play, but we also enjoy letting him be a little boy and do the things he likes to do such as playing football, soccer, basketball or with trains and cars. We are easygoing people, we pay on time, and we can provide a couple of references, if needed. We would like references from any applicants as well.
