Financial Specialist

Description: Northwest Farm Credit Services is currently interviewing Financial Specialist right now, this position will be presented in Montana. This position will assist the Financial Services team including the Relationship Manager and Credit Officer and other Financial Specialists by gathering customer’! s financial information, inputting loan data, investigating loan documents and presenting to customers for signing. Position requires the ability to analyze financial statements, understand legal terminology associated with loan and interest rate programs and financially-related services, procedures and forms for customer communications.
This position will be responsible to comply with closing requirements and disburse, book and certify loans within authorities. Respond to customer inquiries and process customer transactions including checks and receipts, future payment funds, etc. Other duties include loan product knowledge and marketing, database and portfolio management, intermediate/advanced clerical duties such as word processing, spreadsheets, receipts and disbursements, answering telephones and taking messages and processing mail. Coordinates with outside vendors such as title companies, escrow services, attorneys, appraisers and realtors. Works in collabora! tion with other Branch team members and through actions provid! es excellent customer service and creates a positive image of the Association.
Qualifications:
Positions require high school diploma or equivalent and a minimum two years' related work experience. Ability to organize and prioritize work, knowledge of financial statements, customer service experience, additional training in advanced office skills. Must have strong computer skills and experience in using MS Office Suite. Ag experience is beneficial.
