PTRRC ROW Agent - Billings, MT Responsibilities: Will work within the Property Tax, Real Estate, Right-of-Way and Claims (PT! RRC) group and will be actively engaged and responsible for supporting oil and gas production operations in the following functional areas: Acquiring/disposing/maintaining surface real estate and rights of way, including document preparation, mineral interest contract review, negotiations, title review and closing. Investigates, negotiates and settles claims related to real property. Acquiring/leasing/disposing of surface leasehold interests, including document preparation, negotiations, title review and closing. Preparing and presenting surface permit applications before local agencies and staff, including appearing before administrative boards. Leading investigations and review of encroachment matters by third parties on company rights of way. Assisting in obtaining environmental clearances and permits for engineering projects and operations activities. Coordinating activities of contract agents when third party right of way services are required to support Operations or ! an Engineering project. Utilizing computer systems involved in! job functions, such as DSM, TOBIN and SAP. In addition to ROW Agent duties, may also engage other real estate matters, including fee/lease acquisition/maintenance/disposal as well as property tax valuation activities.
Qualifications: A Bachelor degree in Business, technical or other related field. Ability to read, review and understand mineral lease contracts, right of way agreements, surveys and legal descriptions. Strong interpersonal skills required with the ability to establish/maintain relationships with internal and external business partners, suppliers, organizations, and agencies. Strong written/oral communication skills essential with the ability to exhibit flexibility and innovation, spontaneously think/respond quickly and be persistent. Computer proficiency including applications for word processing, spreadsheets, data bases and SAP. Preferred: A Juris Doctorate degree or professional certifications such as RL, RPL, CPL or SRWA. Strong organizati! onal skills. Real estate and/or ROW experience or the ability to quickly assimilate into this role. Previous ROW project management experience desired. Knowledge of FERC and other regulatory matters a plus. Closing Date: September 1, 2013.
