Are you a senior market risk professional? Would you like to expand your portfolio of risk experience? Then this job might be something for you. Group Risk is looking for a senior risk analyst based in Copenhagen to ensure that all risks inherent in the activities of SEB Denmark are identified, assessed, measured, monitored, managed, and reported on in accordance with external and internal rules and international best practices. You will be report to the Head of Risk Oversight in Denmark and have tasks linked to all risk types present in the branch.

What you will be doing
Group Risk is an independent control function reporting to the Chief Risk Officer of SEB Group. Risk Oversight Denmark identifies measures, analyses, controls, and reports risks within SEB AB Copenhagen Branch. Your main responsibilities as a senior risk analyst will be to:
- Understand the local business profile, both by knowing the business drivers and inherent risks in the business model
- Support the business in understanding their risks and facilitate the identification of new and emerging risks
- Understand SEB Group’s Risk frameworks to manage market, credit, liquidity, and non-financial risks
- Ensure that the Group Risk frameworks and policies are followed locally
- Control and monitor risk limits and/or tolerance levels. Escalate possible breaches according to Group Risk instructions
- Follow up that action plans to reduce risks are agreed and executed
- Understand local regulatory requirements on risk control as well as the impact of regulations and changes thereof
- Provide input to global risk processes like risk modelling, stress testing, risk reporting regarding SEB Copenhagen Branch
- Generate reporting & analysis and help communicate clear conclusions and recommendations
A great part of this role is the opportunity to work with the global risk organization and with other branches, this may require travel.
Who are we looking for
You are proactive and have a track-record from senior positions in market risk trading or risk management. Knowledge of financial markets, including Danish Fixed Income would be highly valued. You possess a good understanding and working experience with a variety of financial products, value at risk, computational methods and sensitivity analysis all backed by strong analytical and problem-solving skills. A forward leaning mindset, happy to adapt the latest tech tools would be beneficial.
You are structured and delivery-focused and have high integrity and ethical standards. You are persistent, curious and dare to challenge in a constructive manner. You have excellent presentation skills in English and can communicate complex topics to senior stakeholders.
Collaboration with colleagues both locally and globally is essential for success in the role. You need to be a team player who possesses the ability to independently drive projects.
